Role

I have been working in the monitoring team at the Environmental Research Group since September 2000 after completing MSc in Environmental Engineering at Portsmouth University and BSc in Mechanical Engineering in University in Russia.

My role at ERG is as follows:

  • Local Site Operator for North Kensington since 2000 and Marylebone road since 2002
  • LSO for Defra Particles contract
  • Regular role as Duty Officer, responsible for all network issues in the monitoring team
  • Validation, ratification and statistical analysis of air quality data from the cluster of sites in West London and Sussex
  • Technical and telephone support for the local authorities in the LAQN and Sussex
  • Management of Casella ETI and SupportingU maintenance and sub-contract
  • Production of quarterly performance reports for Casella ETI, SupportingU, Enviro Technology and Air Monitors
  • Deputy Manager for Sussex Air
  • Advise on siting a new air monitoring site for new members of the LAQN
  • Analysis the PM10 and NO2 monitoring data around the construction works for Heathrow Terminal 5
  • Analysis and ratification of the gravimetric PM10 measurements for Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Produced Gravimetric PM10 Monitoring reports for Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea from 2002 to 2008
