Photos from the Web Services TeamERG specialise in content for air quality websites. The content for the websites is generally air quality specific relating to monitoring and emissions measurements, although some projects cover information from related areas.

Monitoring Data
Monitoring data can be presented in the form of a regularly updated bulletin (usually every hour, depending on the frequency of data polling) indicating whether air pollution levels are currently 'low', 'moderate' or 'high' and an Air Quality Index number of one to ten.

All monitoring data, including non-continuous if required, is made available for downloading, maintaining maximum public access to data and information with minimum local authority officer involvement.

Graphical and Statistical tools
ERG can provide webpages with time series graphs showing pollution trends. These specialist pages allow users to compare pollutants at different sites, or multiple pollutants at the same site. These are designed around air quality standards and are made to be easy to use. The graphs pages include specialist tools for plotting wind roses.

ERG also provide pages that allow users to compare pollution levels to Air Quality Strategy Objectives, Sustainability Indicators and a range of user defined exceedence and summary statistics.

Information
The websites include general information such as our guide to Air Pollution, monitoring techniques and QA/QC systems. Relevant air quality reports, such as Review and Assessment or Air Quality Action Plans provided by the client can be converted to Adobe Acrobat PDF or HTML format and made available for display or downloading.

Languages
Photos from the Web Services Team The webteam can also provide bi-lingual capability for websites (subject to translation copy being provided), the site in effect has two versions, one for each language and can be switched to the second language at any time.

Examples of this include the London and Moscow Air Quality Management project and the Neath Port Talbot Air Quality website. For the full client list please see the portfolio page.
