ERG have added RSS news feeds to the londonair website, allowing users of RSS to see pollution at any chosen site or authority, or to see all moderate or above sites within london.
This relatively new technology was chosen because it fits
well with air quality, and has some advantages over email and websites. RSS allows users to see all the information in one place without having to go out and search websites for it.
ERG complied with the RSS standard, which is based on XML, and tested the feed on many different applications and websites with real users of the technology.
Brent Council are currently using this technology embedded within their website to show real time Air Quality measurements in the area, please see the link below:
