Science Policy

Photos from the Science Policy Group The Science Policy Group is the most recently formed group at ERG that brings together atmospheric science research and science policy.

The group works very closely with those involved with the ERG groups involved with measurements and modelling to help establish strong science evidence to inform policy makers both in the UK and Europe.

Group Members

We are interested in many research areas (see Who's Who in ERG?) that help to underpin current understanding of atmospheric science issues. Our interests include understanding emission sources, statistical modelling and developing insights into the factors that control Europe's air pollution climate.

We work closely with scientists and policy-makers throughout Europe and lead or are involved with several groups including chairing the UNECE Convention on Long Range Transboundary Air Pollution (CLRTAP).
